Red hair, snow and smoting

This is one of those weeks in which I think a lot, but not well. Like, "Oh, we're almost out of salt. Salt is white. And salty. I like salt. On eggs! And meat. Then there's pepper. It is black." And so on. So to spare you the details of the following, let's just do some pictures...

1. I got my hair did. It wasn't exactly the color I wanted. It's a little 50-year-old-unmarried-owner-of-a-scrapbookiing-store.

2. It snowed last night. Heavy. It was white...

3. Babysitter Extraordinaire is starting to Get on My Nerves Extraordinaire. But it's partly my fault because I am incapable of telling her to wash the dishes in the sink - not mine - just hers. I know this isn't too much to ask. But she might smote me.

4. My mom sent me this today, along with some truly frightening 80s hair photos. This one. This makes me smile.

Red hair is hot!! Not many people can carry it so well either.

I love the picture of your kiddos at the window and the baseball action shot. It looks like she (you?) is about to spit. Hoop would say you have "nice form" if I let him. ;)

Tink, I may have had a wad of Jerkey Stuff in there. I was all about the realism. You should've seen my Fernando Valenzuela Look to the Stars. Ask Hoop.

V, I know you scrapbook. Many fine people do. But what do you think of when I say 50-year-old-unmarried-owner-of... Yes, that's the hair color I'm talkin' bout. (Please send a picture so I can verify this hairstyle comment, too. I'm now picturing you like the wife that spewed cherry pits in Withes of Eastwick. Not good.)

Red. Nice. Looks good on you.

Red. Bad. Looks bad on me.
I'm married.
I don't have a scrapbooking store. That's all I'm sayin' though.

Here's a caption for your hair-do photo:
"Oh, f- - - k. I did it again: locked the damn keys in the car with the engine running.

The red, it suits you! Hail, fellow redhead.

I hope that was Big League Chew in your chipmunk cheeks rather than a wad of Skoal. So cute, you little tomboy.

When do we get to see the '80s hair?!

The red works. Maybe you can comb it in other direction? Tee hee.

Love the tomboy action shot. Go girl!

Damn! I've been misspelling on every comment I've written. And then I hit the photo on the bottom by accident, and it got big, and is that some chew there stuffed in your girl cheeks?

Love the photos of your kids at the window. And the picture of you pitching is great. Love those unassuming shots that capture your inner warrior. Hope you still recognize her.

50 year old unmarried owner of a scrapbook store. that made me giggle. it's not true but it was definitely funny. i like that color. rather a lot.

we got a ton of snow the day before halloween and thought for sure it would stay. nope. gone.

that is an awesome photo of you as a kid. you look like you were the kind of kid i wish i had the balls to be. i never threw a ball with such conviction. fits, yes but balls, not so much.

I love that pic of you throwing the baseball. It makes me want to move back to the farm and roll around in DIRT.

Red hair is hot...as long as it doesn't look like clown hair. I'm pretty sure yours doesn't. Snow? Already? Hope you've got a good store of movies to watch. Let me know if you run out.

I am always amazed by how much your childhood pics look like Madeleine.

As a fellow red head, I say wear it with pride. And the good news is, if you really hate it, reds fade out fast, so it'll be lighter in no time. I love your description even though I don't think it fits.

That last picture reminds me of how much fun it was to be a tomboy. I think i'll go climb a tree.
I was born to have red hair, except that i don't have red hair. And now i'm frightened to try.
Ok, it's really not that scary!
Oh, one more thing, SNOW! I am jealous, it rarely snows here.
